"I wanted to share my recent experience at this Taco Bell (Arboretum Shopping Center, Charlotte).. I encountered a mix of confusion over cash acceptance. When I tried to pay for 1 taco with a $100 bill, the employee refused and told me to use a card instead, which I didn’t want to do. I asked for the manager, and while they confirmed there wasn’t a policy against accepting large bills, the employee insisted they had been told otherwise.. it was awkward, they argued about it in front of me. I get that working in fast food can be tough, and I appreciate the managers effort to address my concern. But the situation left me feeling there is a lack of communication within their team. It’s essential for both managers and employees to be on the same page to avoid confusion for customers. I look forward to clearer guidelines in the future..I will likely stop by again when I’m in the area.. the taco was absolutely delicious! Great snack"

"At a location that has struggled with staffing in the past, Jerome AND Michael are saving the day! Both gentlemen were amazing during my last visit. All of the employees working at the time were positive and working together as a team, but I witnessed Michael patiently help an elderly customer who was being a little bit difficult and mean. Michael was patient, kind, and helpful while the woman was ordering answering all of her questions and walking her through the menu and ordering process. He then even let her taste the tea to see if she liked it and added more ice at her request. The woman watched the line crafting her taco and was commenting and criticizing their work, but Jerome and his team were polite and kind in their responses, meeting her demands with patient smiles. Jerome checked multiple orders to make sure they were perfect (including mine), all while continuing to positively respond to the difficult customer's comments. I know it's just a Taco Bell, but honestly the pride in work and the kindness I witnessed from these two gentlemen was a little reminder that there are still good people in the world. Give Jerome and Michael a raise!"

"waited over an hour for my food but the workers were so kind. even gave us a free drink while we waited. looked like there were only two people in there! this isnt even really an abnormal thing. i feel like they are always understaffed! taco bell corporate if u read this... hire more people! give employees more hours! the strain on the employees is very apparent. godbless them for working on new years day and for having such positive attitudes despite working conditions. rating 5 stars cuz food was amazing and so were the workers. just wish i didnt have to wait so long!!!"

"I shared a bad review of this Taco Bell a while back. I went in there again this time because I really had a taste for a burrito and the customer service has improved tremendously. I came in on the evening shift, and they were getting my food in a timely fashion, the manager was really trying her best to honor the team and the customers, and even for the small wait of time that I did have, they accommodated me and honored me. They were very friendly and one of the workers was doing a very good job of cleaning the lobby area. They are really trying their best you guys so please give them grace."

"We feel lucky to be able to order food at the drive-thru @ 9:30 tonight. They said they were closing soon but fulfilled our order. The burritos were bagged on top of our tacos and so the tacos were a smushed mess but we managed to eat them."
